Dinner at Casas

Nights become aglow with enchantment when you have dinner at Casas del XVI. Our doors are open to guests not staying at the hotel for personal gastronomic experiences in a setting that is out of the ordinary. Available from Tuesdays through Sundays for groups of 2 to 10 guests. 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Advance reservations are required.

Centro de la Imagen - Casas del XVI

Centro de la Imagen

The center is dedicated to the study, promotion and appreciation of contemporary photography. Created by Fundación Imagen 83, it carries out high quality programs to advance the comprehension of photography as a medium and means of communication. Events and exhibitions are held throughout the year with the participation of local and international artists.
Alcázar Virreinal de Colón

Alcázar de Colón

Built in the second decade of the sixteenth century, the fortified palace served as the home of Diego Colon and his wife María de Toledo, where they held the first viceregal Court in America. The building is an example of the Gothic Mudejar style with Renaissance characteristics. The museum showcases a collection of art and furnishings that represent the ambiance of the Spanish court.

Museum Fernando Peña Defilló

Widely recognized as an icon and one of the great masters of Dominican painting, Fernando Peña Defilló, was a talented artist and who bestowed a rich pictorial legacy with creations charged with symbolism. The museum showcases the artist’s family’s collection with a comprehensive compilation that encompasses more than sixty-five years of his career.
