Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic -. The International Business Awards (IBA) recently announced the winners of the 2022 competition, with LLYC and Casas del XVI as the recipients of the Bronze category in the Communications or Public Relations Campaign of the Year.
The award highlights the success of Noches de Sabores Ancestrales at Casas del XVI. It is recognized for the successful outcome of the campaign with a Bronze Stevie® Award.
Noches de Sabores Ancestrales is a tribute to Dominican gastronomy, a culinary experience designed by Casas del XVI and inspired by the book Sabores Ancestrales published by the firm INICIA. The proposal for the themed dinners arises from the interest of highlighting the importance of Dominican culinary heritage and to attract visitors to the Colonial City with a new value proposition. Casas del XVI, through Noches de Sabores Ancestrales, sought to highlight the splendor and affluence of the Dominican gastronomic culture.
Six nights of the themed dinners were offered to the public and an additional one was added in response to the success of the previous ones. The event featured the participation of prominent chefs who contributed with their personal touch to the success of Noches de Sabores Ancestrales, including Martín Omar, Leandro Díaz and Paulette Tejada. Through a digital and offline communication strategy, Noches de Sabores Ancestrales achieved the revaluation of the Colonial City and Casas del XVI as the ideal setting to embark on a discovery journey towards Dominican culinary origins.
As a result of the communications campaign, LLYC and Casas del XVI are awarded the 2022 Bronze Stevie® Award by International Business Awards, United States, in the category of Communications or Public Relations Campaign of the Year. The Stevie Awards are the world’s leading business awards program, with more than 11,000 nominations from public and private organizations from 68 countries. The award represents the efficiency and effectiveness of carrying out campaigns with impact in the field of corporate communication and customer experience.
This recognition reaffirms Casas del XVI’s commitment to innovation and creativity. We thank the International Business Awards and its jury for the distinction, as well as the team at LLYC for joining us in the creation of Noches de Sabores Ancestrales. It is an honor to have been recognized by the Stevie Awards and this motivates us to continue working with inspiration to exalt gastronomic culture in the Colonial City and the country in the local and international markets.
