Casa Sánchez

A historic venue that honors the legacy of the nation’s founding fathers.

Casa Sánchez is an open and diaphanous location suitable for hosting events and intimate parties. The elements of the original structure contrast with the brightness of the room, making it a warm and welcoming space that can accommodate a multitude of set-ups.

This house is dedicated exclusively as a venue. The large open room is solemn and elegant, combining original structural elements and modern finishes suitable for the celebration of corporate events and private parties alike. The back doors open to the garden, which joins with Casa de los Vitrales, maximizing the use of space for multifunctional uses.

The house carries great historic importance as it is recognized as the birthplace of Francisco del Rosario Sánchez, one of the leaders of the Dominican independence movement. A permanent space is dedicated to his memory in a way that pays tribute to the patriot without interrupting the use of the space.

Origin of the Name: Inspired by the brave heroes who led the movement for the Dominican independence.

Concept: A diaphanous and multifunctional space for the celebration of events.

Design: Light and bright, where old world charm still remains and the memorabilia fills the room with elegance and solemnity.

Culture: Dominican history, national pride and historic preservation.

Architecture: Nestled within the grounds of the former Convent of the Dominican Order, the house retains its ancient walls and architectural details. Inside, a warm and welcoming feeling graces an ample open space.
